The Welcome Home™ Collection: A Tribute to America's Vietnam Veterans - It's been three decades since the end of the Vietnam War, and the men and women who served our country in that conflict have never received the recognition they deserved. It was an "unpopular" war, and a war these veterans never asked for, yet they served with honor, bravery and distinction. The way they were treated upon their return was a shameful chapter in this nation's history.
US Wings believes this recognition is long overdue, and our Welcome Home™ Collection is our tribute to America's Vietnam Veterans. The expression "Welcome Home" has a special meaning among Vietnam Vets, who never received such a greeting upon their return. It is an expression used between fellow Vietnam Vets and its significance is intuitively understood. Our Welcome Home™ Collection is a labor of love from Sgt. David Hack (CEO of US Wings and a decorated Vietnam Vet himself), who believes it's never too late to right a wrong.
10% of sales go to the Veterans of the Vietnam War, Inc. & The Veterans Coalition for their United Veterans Beacon House (see letter), which provides transitional, safe housing for homeless veterans as they reintegrate into the society they willingly protected through their military service (to check out their website, see link below). The Welcome Home™ logo and all items in the Welcome Home™ Collection are registered trademarks of US Wings and designed by Sgt. David Hack.
